Each week my South African friend Vanessa and I post {this moment} on two continents! as a ritual to celebrate our friendship and the bond we share as we raise our boys "together" on opposite sides of the globe.

This week we were reminded of the simple things that make this life feel magical.  And reminded to take the time to stand and recognize its blessings whenever possible.

It was a hard week as we lost our beloved pet and friend of seven years, Spirit. So my pictures this week are memories of Spirit, pictures of the tree we planted in memory, and of its flowers & berries that will attract birds.
