{this moment} on two continents! 23 August 2013

Each week my South African friend Vanessa and I post {this moment} on two continents! as a ritual to celebrate our friendship and the bond we share as we raise our boys "together" on opposite sides of the globe.


This week we explored the world both near and far from home:

 We wandered through fields of grass glowing in the setting sun.


Ruben made his first trek up the trail alone - United States

 Aidan flew to far away lands to see family and friends!!

 And enjoyed the day with three generations swinging together - South Africa (in the UK)

Inspired by Soulemama - {this moment} A Friday ritual. A single photo few photos - no words - some words :-) capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

    a lovely week. I like how Ruben makes it all the way up the trail, glances at the camera... and then keeps going. So independant. Be well.
